Who are Reclaim Experts?

Reclaim Experts offer an online resource showcasing and spotlighting the service of reclaiming loans and other services, in addition to offering a comprehensive collection of articles, information and blog posts to help customers make informed decisions.

Reclaim Experts is not a claims management company but we work closely with our partners, who are CMCs, to help our customers receive loan refunds for a variety of mis-sold loans including Guarantor Loans, Payday Loans (short term) and Doorstep Loans, in addition to other services such as PPI and PCP Refunds, Marriage Tax Allowance and Mis-sold Mortgages.

What loans can you claim a refund against?

How does it work?

Claiming a refund against a mis-sold loan or financial service can seem a daunting task, and we understand that, which is why we are here to to support you throughout the process. We’ve also made the process clear and simple, just as it should be.

Step 1: Complete a claim form providing us with some basic information, including your contact details. We will then pass this information onto our best Claims Management Company partner, suited to your claim.

Step 2: Our CMC partner will contact you for more information and details to accompany your claim. Once the claim is submitted to your lender or service provider, our partner will keep you up to date of its progress periodically and inform you of any updates.

Step 3: Once our CMC partner receives a decision from your lender or service provider, they will communicate this to you, and depending on the offer received, they would recommend an appropriate course of action- for example, accepting the claim or negotiating, if required. After your claim is accepted by your lender, they will also liase with the lender in arrange for the claim funds to be transferred into your account.

How long does it take?

Once you complete our simple online form, you will be contacted by one of our CMC partners.

After they have gathered a few additional details, they will then process your claim and submit it to your lender. The complete process from submitting a claim to your lender and receiving a refund on average is between 6-18 weeks.

Do be aware of claims management companies offering “fast pay outs” or not explaining the process fully. All Claims Management companies acting on behalf on consumers must follow the same procedure, and therefore time scales.

This is a complimentry service.

When submitting your claim, you will need to include some basic basic information, including your contact details. We will then pass this information onto our best Claims Management Company partner, suited to your claim. They will then get in touch with you to ask for some additional information.

Do I need to use a company to submit my claim?

No, you do not need to use a Claims Management Company to make a claim against your lender(s) but we understand that it can be daunting for some people to do this, without support and assistance from a knowledgeable source, which is why we offer to connect our customers to a CMC as another option.

If you wish to claim against your lender, you can do this yourself directly with them and even if they reject your claim you can still take this to the Financial Ombudsman Service (http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk). If you aren’t sure how to make the claim, you can get free, impartial advice from consumer organisations.

Can You Offer Debt Advice?

No, our service is purely claims related.
