QuickQuid was billed as “As one of the UK’s most trusted online lenders” and “was committed
to helping our approved customers get money when they need it most”.

QuickQuid was part of the same group of lenders, Wonga and Money Shop Group, who started in 2007 and
have all since stopped lending. When QuickQuid went into administration, it was estimated that there was
around 500,000 customers with outstanding loans. Many of these customers had filed affordability claims
against QuickQuid, with it becoming one of the most complained about firm to the Financial Ombudsman (FOS).

Quick Quid went into administration on the 25th October 2019 and are not accepting any more loan
applications, from new or existing borrowers.

Even though they are not accepting any new loans, if you have taken out a loan with them in the past and you have been unable to pay the loan, you still may be eligible to claim compensation against this loan company.

Why could I receive a QuickQuid Loan Refund?

  • During your application process, with QuickQuid you may have not mentioned all of your
debts. If this didn’t match with your credit record, QuickQuid should have ensured
    to double check this.
  • You may have underestimated your monthly outgoings when you took out the loan
with QuickQuid, due to estimations or eagerness to be eligible for your loan due
to the circumstances you were in, causing you not to be able to afford the monthly
repayments. If your monthly outgoings were too low, QuickQuid should have
explored whether these were correct or not.
  • When you applied for the loan, you may have not stated your correct regular income,
due to be self-employed or your job history changing during this time. QuickQuid should
have looked at this and ensured you had a regular, consistent income before giving you a loan.

If any of the above statements describe your experience with QuickQuid and left you unable to pay
the loan, you could be eligible to claim compensation. Start your claim below or get in touch with
the experienced Retail Experts team who will guide you through the process.
